Avoid waxing, shaving, or using depilatory creams on the treatment area for 24-48 hours before your appointment. If you’re using strong skincare products or medications like retinol or Accutane, discontinue use 48 hours beforehand and inform your therapist of any skin conditions or medications. Reducing alcohol and caffeine intake 24 hours before treatment will also help keep your skin in optimal condition.
