Twin-Toning™ Laser Pigmentation Removal – Dual-Wavelength Precision for Stubborn Pigment

Target multi-layered and resistant pigmentation with Twin-Toning™, an advanced dual-wavelength laser pigmentation treatment available exclusively at Pink Laser Clinics. This next-generation protocol goes beyond standard laser toning by combining Nd:YAG (1064 nm) and KTP/VERDE (532 nm) laser wavelengths to correct pigmentation at both the dermal and epidermal levels—in one powerful session.

Designed to treat deep dermal pigment as well as superficial sun spots and discolouration, Twin-Toning is ideal for those with complex pigmentation concerns, including hormonal pigmentation, sun damage, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

How Twin-Toning™ Works

Nd:YAG 1064 nm – Targets deep dermal pigment and stimulates collagen for improved skin texture and tone
KTP 532 nm (VERDE) – Precisely clears superficial pigmentation, including freckles and sun spots

This dual-action treatment improves skin clarity, evens out discolouration, and enhances overall brightness—with minimal downtime and maximum results.

Experience Twin-Toning™ in Melbourne at Pink Laser Clinics—your destination for effective, results-driven pigmentation correction.

How it works

  • Dual Wavelengths

With the use of two wavelengths, both dermal and epidermal pigment are targeted.

  • LIGHT ABSORPTION

The laser produces short nanosecond pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the melanin pigment.

  • Pigment Break-up

The laser light is transformed into photoacoustic waves which mechanically break up the melanin pigment into smaller particles.

  • PIGMENT REMOVAL

These particles are then removed by the body’s own immune system, as the skin’s macro-phages clear the excess pigment from the area.

When possible, attend your appointment without makeup. Discontinue use of any skincare products on the treatment area 24 hours pre-treatment.

Apply Pink Skin Care Recovery Gel for 24-48 hours post treatment. Always apply SPF to the treatment area and limit sun exposure. Active skin care can resume 48-72 hours post treatment.

You will need to begin your recommended at home skin care routine 14 days prior to your first treatment. To view recommended skin care products for this treatment, click here.

Please notify your clinician if there are changes to your medical history, medications or pregnancy. Hormonal imbalances can affect the treatment outcome and more treatments may be necessary. Cooperation and adherence to aftercare protocols is necessary.
