They never ask to look younger. They ask to look less tired.
She points as she talks. It's here, and here. I just look tired all the time. She has seen something online and wants to know if it would lift her, whether it could do anything for the shadows under her eyes. We know what she is pointing at: the marionette lines around the mouth, the under-eye heaviness that might be the years and might just be how little sleep there is when you spend it looking after everyone else.
Then comes the other half of it, almost every time. I don't want to look like I can't move. Not frozen, not done, not a different face. Just a refresher. Herself, less worn.
